The deadly Coronavirus has had a profound impact throughout the world. We urge everyone to heed the recommendations of national and local health advisors. In addition to the actions depicted above, the CDC has now recommended that cloth face coverings be worn when you are in public settings. This is due to the alarming number of individuals who may have the virus, but are asymptomatic. By doing so, you are protecting yourself, as well as others. It is important to remember that social distancing of 6 ft should still be implemented.
All it takes are a few simple actions to make a difference.
While it may seem like an end is not in sight, the human spirit can overcome the toughest of obstacles. We will come out on the other side victorious and more resilient. Remember, we are all in this together. For additional Information on how you can help slow the spread, please see the links below.

There are small islands in our oceans derived from plastic waste alone. This is havoc upon our ocean life. Now taking action are New Jersey lawmakers advanced legislation Thursday to ban single-use plastic and paper bags, as well as plastic foam containers commonly used for takeout. The Democrat-led Senate Budget Committee passed the measure after it was amended behind closed doors. The bill's sponsors call it “landmark” legislation, and environmental groups say if the bill is enacted it would be among the most expansive in the country. Should the bill become law as written, retailers and food service businesses will be prohibited from providing or selling single-use plastic and paper bags. They also won’t be able to sell or give out polystyrene containers. There are limited exceptions to the rules, which can be reviewed here. Food service businesses would be able to give out disposable straws, but only if customers specifically request them. As an alternative to disposables, legislators, environmentalists and bill proponents are encouraging consumers to take advantage of reusable products. Totes, drawstring backs, and reusable straws are options. That presents opportunity for businesses of all stripes to provide and/or sell such products with their branding on it – something promo products pros can capitalize on. Distributors in nearby New York are poised make the most of such opportunities as they begin to arise in their state.
Not only in NJ should this be important. I believe it should be mandated throughout the world. In doing so there is substantial help in eliminating the collection of this atrocity. There is hope. A small breathe of fresh is sweeping the seas. Check out Ocean Cleanup and see what they are doing to help clean up rivers and ocean around the world. They are one of many aiding in the war against plastic in our precious waters.
